What is the Stras'MUN ?
Stras’Mun 2025 is Science Po’s Strasbourg very own take on MUN conferences with five engaging committees including a thrilling crisis game in french, two traditional MUN committees in english, a fictional one in english as well. And our traditional speciality : the WarMun, a mix between military strategies and diplomatic tools in french.The Stras’MUN is reparted between 3 days and featured a lot of events. It will have some conferences, many hours of debating and, above all, the traditional Gala.

Africa is home to some of the world’s most valuable resources—cobalt, diamonds, lithium, and other strategic minerals which are essential to industries like renewable energy. However, they often fuel conflict, exploitation, foreign interference, and endanger national sovereignty and sustainable development.
This committee must tackle human rights violations in the mining industry, the role of armed groups and illicit trade, and global competition over Africa’s minerals, while proposing solutions for ethical resource management and economic independence.
United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs
During humanitarian crises, access to food, water, medical supplies, and shelter is vital for survival. However scarcity and mismanagement often lead to exploitation and inequality.
This OCHA committee will tackle the challenges of strategic resource allocation in order to develop innovative solutions to ensure efficient and equitable humanitarian aid distribution.
2070 : United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space
By 2070s, the balance of power has shifted dramatically due to climate change and rising geopolitical tensions which have triggered a global economic crisis. In search of new resources and economic growth, massive investments have been made in space exploration.
